Hinkley Point C, a new nuclear power station in Somerset, is a significant project that aims to generate low-carbon electricity for millions of homes and contribute to the UK economy's growth.
We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C. This is a full-time role with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
As a qualified Air Conditioning engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing assets, building fabric, services, and estate across various sites. Specialized expertise in Air Conditioning and experience in building and facilities maintenance are essential for this role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks through the CAFM system
- Schedule and plan workload efficiently
- Lead engineers and technicians during maintenance work
- Handle daily site issues effectively
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during breakdowns and repairs
- Assist in creating reports and technical procedures
- Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs on site equipment
- Diagnose and rectify faults in mechanical and electrical systems
Essential
- Qualified and experienced in HVAC or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in building and facilities maintenance
Desirable
- Knowledge of BMS systems
- Electrical/Plumbing qualifications
- Hold a full, clean driving license
