Salary - £26,000 (Depending on experience)

Location:

  • Clevedon

Working Hours - Permanent, Full-Time contract - Monday - Thursday 8:15am to 15:15pm, Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm

The Role
As Stores/QA/Despatch Supervisor you will report to the Production Manager and may have
relationships with all other departments including System Test, Purchasing and Engineering. This will be a hands-on role, responsible for around 3 immediate staff members. There will be a requirement for monthly reporting against set KPIs

The Key Responsibilities of the Despatch Supervisor will include:

Supervisor

  • Responsible for 3 staff members in two locations. Other production staff members may flex into the area depending on demand
  • Ensure staff welfare is maintained
  • Comply by company H&S rules
  • Ensure all stock locations comply with Lean 5S
  • Attend monthly purchasing meeting
  • Report monthly KPIs
  • Perform annual appraisals and regular 1 to 1's with team members
  • Work closely with purchasing to maintain stock levels to company goals
  • Advise and implement continuous improvement initiatives
    Physical goods inwards & other movements
  • Unload goods delivered and move them to their designated location
  • Inspect selected goods received and verify & approve whenever necessary, i.e. New items
  • Move goods both within and between stores/production and site locations as required
  • To deliver and collect goods as required
    Final inspection, Packing & Despatch of finished goods
  • To complete inspection procedures of finished goods as per quality standards
  • Print documents including manuals and electrical drawings relevant to the sales order
  • Take photos of finished goods & transfer them to the relevant sales order folder on computer
  • Pack finished goods and prepare them for despatch as per quality standards
  • To load despatches of goods
  • Forklift Licence
