Our client, established in 1988 and has grown into one of the prominent critical power specialists in the UK, is looking to welcome an Engineer Assistant to their nationwide team of engineers.

Full training is provided for this role.

As an Engineering Assistant, you will:

  • Assist the warehouse in gathering all necessary parts for on-site tasks
  • Load vans at the premises
  • Drive to sites to deliver installation items and materials
  • Support engineers on-site with their tasks
  • Conduct tests on small UPS equipment (training will be provided)
  • Operate fork-lift trucks to load vehicles (training will be provided)

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong organizational skills and punctuality
  • Capability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • A desire to utilize existing skills while being eager to learn and enhance them
  • Full UK driver's license
  • Preference for Reach Truck license (training will be provided to the successful candidate)

Benefits:

  • Annual salary range: £21-24K per annum
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexible start times, additional payment for overtime
  • 20 days of annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days
  • 10% pension contribution by the company
  • Free on-site parking
