Your Duties:

Waste Collection and Street Cleansing:

  • Safely collect and transport waste from domestic, commercial, and priority areas to designated sites.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation for safe disposal, contributing to recycling initiatives.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and address recycling contamination issues, educating occupants when necessary.
  • Collaborate on promotional activities to encourage public participation in recycling efforts.

Maintenance and Enhancement:

  • Perform cleansing activities, including street washing, graffiti and gum removal, and ensuring public spaces meet cleanliness standards.
  • Contribute to seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow clearance, gritting, leaf sweeping, and waste distribution.

Gardening and Horticultural Work:

  • Engage in gardening activities like planting, turfing, grass cutting, hedge trimming, and maintaining horticultural schemes.
  • Operate various tools and equipment for gardening tasks, ensuring their proper upkeep.

General Duties:

  • Maintain cleanliness in and around facilities, performing cleaning, litter removal, and equipment movement.
  • Utilise communication tools for effective team collaboration and respond to maintenance needs promptly.
  • Collect and maintain necessary records and reports, including incident documentation and vandalism reports.

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in diverse weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
  • Strong communication skills for public interaction and team collaboration.
