Company Overview
Connect Personnel representing a longstanding client who is a leader within the logistics industry. They are currently seeking a meticulous and detail oriented PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) / Vehicle Inspector to ensure the quality and safety of our vehicles

before they are delivered to our customers.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Performing safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting

  • Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections in accordance with quality standards
  • Perform appropriate safety testing of vehicle settings
  • Vehicle fueling and valeting
  • Documentation of all
associated inspection paperwork.
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive inspection, preferably in a dealership or automotive service center.

  • Class 2
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with
diagnostic tools and equipment used for vehicle inspections.

  • Attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects or irregularities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
in a fast-paced environment.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
About you
All applicants hold a valid driver's license and ideally have 2 years professional driving experience

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working within a quality related function
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the automotive
industry would be advantageous as would any transferrable production experience

  • All applicants will need to pass an onsite drivers' assessment and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test to be considered for the role.
Training
Full training will be given on all aspects of PDI process, must be computer literate, technical knowledge is preferred.
