It is an exciting time to be part of Cheshire East's Strong Start, Family Help and Integration Service
. We have recently had a redesign of services to support us transform the way in which we deliver services through Family Hubs.

The postholder will work within the Family Hubs which support children for young people with SEND).

The role will be pivotal in supporting the Family Hub Teams to effectively deliver evidence-based programmes of support to parents in a welcoming and comfortable environment, ensuring families receive appropriate and timely interventions.


The post holder will receive enquiries from members of the public, professionals (via face to face, electronic and telephone channels) and provide appropriate consistent advice, signposting and guidance.

A Family Advisor will undertake administrative tasks i.e. booking appointments, data collection and entry and ordering resources.

A number of ICT platforms are used on a daily basis to enter data and record transactions within our policies and procedures.


You will need to be qualified at NVQ level 2 or above and have relevant experience in dealing with members of the public who may at times be distressed or anxious and experiencing family difficulties.

You will also have regular contact with a range of education, health and social care professionals and so will need the ability to adapt your responses accordingly.

We have 4 exciting Family Advisor roles across the South of Cheshire East. The south locality covers Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Alsager, Middlewich, Crewe and Nantwich. Full and part time positions are available.
