LKL Farming grow 1600 acres of crops near Howden, East Yorkshire and are looking to recruit a machinery operator / tractor driver for Harvest.

We grow wheat, oats, oilseed rape, vining peas and sugar beet.

Our machinery fleet includes New Holland CR9080 combine, Challenger 765E and 765C crawlers, Sands sprayer and modern tractors including Claas, Case and MF, all with auto-steer to fit in with Controlled Traffic Farming.

The job will include leading grain, leading straw, muck spreading, hedgecutting and some cultivation work. An ability to work within our CTF system is essential.


We are based out of a well equipped modern yard, with large flat floor grain stores filled by a continuous flow drier.

Accommodation in a comfortable static caravan is available on site and the local town is less than 2 miles down the road.

A vechicle can be made available for shopping trips.

Help required mid-July through beginning September for combinable crop harvest. Some experience is preferred, a "can do" attitude is essential.

Plenty of hours available. Pay depending on experience.
