Goods Receiver / Stock Controller

We are searching for
A
versatile and proactive
Goods Receiver / Stock Controller to join our team at Chateau Denmark.

Where back of house takes centre stage, along a street filled with iconic architecture, our Goods Receiver connects the good times with the right ingredients.

Your profile

  • Passionate for delivering excellent customer experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and also as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Previous stock management experience, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fastpaced environment.

Your duties

  • Receive and pass on all goods and deliveries in and out of the buildings to the storage area.
  • Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, recording any discrepancies or damages.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding any issues with deliveries or discrepancies.
  • Identify slow moving items to avoid over purchasing.
  • Maintain exclusive control over deliveries and stock counts (snack, beverages and miscellaneous).
  • Stocking in room bars, maintaining inventory, organising orders, and billing guests.
  • Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front desk staff to coordinate room turnover and guest needs
  • Distribution of goods to the required destination.
  • Daily spot checks of stock in storage areas.
  • Assist with monthly stock counts.
  • Assist and support Team Members, Managers and the wider Department in a team environment.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.
