Senior Support Worker

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans
  • Utilise IT systems for recordkeeping and reporting
  • Drive residents to appointments or outings as required
  • Demonstrate leadership skills when supervising junior staff members
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of residents at all times
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans
  • Supervise daily activities within the care home

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in senior care or a related field is essential with a minimum of 2 years.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and support junior staff members
  • Familiarity with residential environments and procedures
  • Ability to supervise and implement individualised care plans effectively


This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents while working in a supportive team environment.

£12.45 per hour
