MFL Teacher required (Spanish & French)

The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with the Leigh Academies Trust and Longfield Academy in particular to find an experienced and dedicated MFL Teacher to join their school from September 2024. We are looking for teacher to offer both Spanish and French. The department is led by a highly experienced MFL practitioner and you will be joining a very supportive and friendly team who strive to share their love of languages with pupils. You will be able to support the department on various trips to France and Spain, and various celebrations throughout the year.

• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach well structured lessons
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
• Fulfil wider professional responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous experience as a qualified MFL teacher is essential
• Must hold QTS
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment
