HGV1 Driver

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dependable Class 1 driver to join our team. As a Class 1 driver, your main task will be to safely transport goods and materials to various locations like Wigton and Lockerbie.

Shifts: Monday to Friday

Start times: 05:00am to 07:00am (average 10-hour shift)

Pay: £15.30 per hour (overtime paid at an enhanced rate)

Duties:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and others

Experience:

• Valid Class 1 license
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Class 1 driver
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
