We're on the lookout for a new team member to fill the role of Compliance & Control - Senior Vice President at our Pershing Compliance team in Manchester.
This position reports to the Deputy Head of Compliance for Pershing EMEA and involves supporting the Regulatory Change and Compliance Advisory function within Pershing EMEA entities based in Dublin, Jersey, and Channel Islands.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in ensuring business units comply with regulatory and policy requirements
- Provide guidance to staff in assessing control effectiveness for ongoing compliance
- Contribute to enhancing compliance through projects and programs
- Advise on regulatory issues and apply rules to business models
- Participate in projects to address compliance matters related to business development
Requirements:
- Background in Financial Services, Compliance, Risk, or Audit
- Experience interpreting and presenting laws, regulations, and rules
- Ability to build relationships in a multi-jurisdictional environment
- Effective communication skills to represent Compliance to senior personnel and external stakeholders
