- £22,000The section currently cares for a large group of Californian Sea Lions, a number of display birds including owls, Bird of Prey and small & large parrots.


You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a zoo with a significant animal training and presenting skill set.

The DMZZA course or equivalent are also essential. Experience of working with a wide range of animal (particularly avian) taxa is also highly desirable.


Proven success in Animal training or an appropriate qualification in the use of positive reinforcement training also would be beneficial.

You will need to be hard working, physically fit, enthusiastic, and reliable.
