Despatch / Warehouse Operative urgently required to work for a specialist manufacturing business based near Shalford, Surrey.


You will receive and despatch products to and from production and warehouse operations alongside loading and unloading outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles.

You will pick products from the warehouse, move inventory to storage area, and pack/ship finished products.

To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. Preferred applicants are hard-working, focused and have outstanding problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Accepting delivery of inventory.
  • Counting and confirming inventory.
  • Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
  • Communicating errors to relevant parties.
  • Marking and labelling stock.
  • Packing of finished product
  • Storing inventory in accessible manner.
  • Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
  • Creating customer shipments on our ERP system
  • Creating customs invoices
  • Liaising with our courier services

  • A strong team player who can work with everyone.
  • Having a natural enthusiasm for providing a supportive service to work colleagues.
  • A numerate individual with an analytical approach towards buying.
  • Able to prioritise important tasks above general tasks.
