We're looking for a Head of Real Assets Research to lead a team of researchers covering real estate and infrastructure.

In this role, you will guide research in these areas that will directly influence how multi-billions of our clients' money is invested.

You will be responsible for asset class research in Real Assets, setting a macro view on prospects; research, assess and form views on managers and the products they offer investing in both direct and indirect forms of Real Assets; Driving the research of Real Assets investment products offered by investment managers
Being highly influential in setting LCP's views on these products based on our framework for manager research
Developing and implementing research methodologies, tools, and processes to analyse and evaluate real estate and infrastructure investment opportunities
Lead and manage a team of research analysts, ensuring high-quality and consistent output, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Researching approaches and providers of services (eg brokers, platforms) to sell funds on the secondary market. Researching other ways for investors to raise liquidity from their illiquid assets
Providing assessments of individual assets that have been identified as potential co-investments
Presenting research findings and investment ideas to clients, effectively communicating complex concepts and recommendations in a clear and engaging manner
Collaborating closely with client-facing teams, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of research efforts with overall client objectives
Maintaining strong relationships with industry experts, peers, and other external sources to gather valuable market intelligence and stay ahead of industry trends
Overseeing the production and presentation of high-quality research reports, whitepapers, and other thought leadership materials to enhance the firm's market presence and credibility
Ensuring our research is, and is seen to be, independent; What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?
A demonstrable, proven experience in real estate and/or infrastructure research and investment analysis, in a leadership role
Highly detailed understanding of the global real estate and infrastructure markets, including market dynamics, investment strategies, risk management and all aspects of responsible investment in Real Assets
Experience in presenting research findings and investment ideas to clients, with strong presentation and communication skills.
Adjusting the content and style to deliver output to a range of stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and the value proposition for research
A professional qualification in investment, finance or surveying preferable.
