This is a great opportunity to make a valuable and lasting contribution to the lives of children and young people aged 5-12.

Salary - Circa £30,000
per annum

We have a full-time permanent position (35 hours per week) though will consider part time applicants (min. of 21 hours per week).


YOUnited is an innovative partnership involving Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, Centre 33, and Ormiston Families.

The partnership offers emotional wellbeing and mental health support to children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with Ormiston Families leading on interventions for the younger age range.

You will join a supportive team where clinical supervision is provided. We are also very keen to develop our service as a provider of high-quality trainee counsellor placements.

Safeguarding and DBS requirements for your role:

Ormiston Families is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts.
