We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Interventional Cardiology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Cardiology department.

The successful appointee will be joining a department of 15 Consultant Cardiologists, where the appointee will be expected to undertake various duties within the department

These include:
participation in 1:8-10 Consultant Cardiology of the week rota, participation in 1:7-8 PPCI rota and regular PCI sessions, attendance of regular Heart failure, Echo and Coronary MDT meetings, carry out cardiology clinics, responsibility for the professional supervision & management of junior medical staff, carrying out teaching, examination & accreditation duties as required, participation in the clinical governance arrangements of the Trust & specifically within the Directorate including clinical audit, & research
