We currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join our company and work in the Granulation team.


Role:
Assisting the foreperson in all aspects of the safe and efficient running of the production machines and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide work to yourself and others through the use of an FLT.
  • Use a professional manner towards everyone.
  • Report any faulty machinery straight away after becoming aware of the fault.
  • Ensure that all the machines are running efficiently to maximise the output.
  • Ensure that you are wearing all required PPE as per the SWP's.
  • All product is correctly packaged and labelled. (No handwritten labels)
  • Always maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that you have the correct training and have signed off all relevant SWP's.
  • Ensure no contaminants enter the granulators (rubbers, wood, steel etc).
  • Make sure any Health & Safety checks are carried out as required.
  • Continually improve the processes in the department to increase efficiencies.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably requested.

Requirements:

Hours of work:
Working Monday - Friday, 8:00am until 4:30pm.

Rate of Pay:
£10.65 per hour

Salary:

Experience:

  • Granulation: 1 year (preferred)
General Operative: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • FLT (preferred)
