We are looking for a 3rd in Charge to work at a nursery based in Stokenchurch. The salary starts at £28,000 depending on qualifications and experience. There are some great benefits such as on site parking, training, vouchers, childcare discounts and annual pay increases.


You must be qualified to Level 3 or above in Childcare & Education and have previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Nurse and have experience working with leading a team.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, you get 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.


You will be mentoring and supporting the team within your room and across the nursery to deliver great care and education.

You will be creating a stimulating environment with engaging activities for the children across the indoor and outdoor environments in the nursery.

You will be creating good relationships with the staff, parents and management team reporting on both staff and children's ongoing learning progress.


You will complete appraisals and help with recruitment of staff and will deputise for the deputy manager in their absence.

You will be involved in the daily running of the nursery alongside the management team.


This is an excellent opportunity to work in childcare, providing care and support to the under 5s and creating a fun and happy environment for the children to play and learn.

The role includes play work, activities, support with feeding, personal care and supporting the staff team with daily tasks and reporting.


Applicants should be trained to a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare & Education and have experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
