An exciting opportunity for a part time Housekeeper has arisen to join our small but dedicated team of Housekeepers as we expand our Hospice site.


Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area.

We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community.

Our person centred care is delivered with compassion and respect for people's wishes. We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy.


As part of the Housekeeping team, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness within the Hospice, providing a safe clean environment for patients, visitors and staff within our Wellbeing Centre, Clinical and Non-Clinical areas in line with the agreed cleaning schedule.

Duties will include vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors and the emptying of bins.

Additional information
The Housekeeping provision is operated over 7 days and worked on a 6 week rota.

All Housekeeping staff are required to work a 25 hour week split over five, five hour days and work two weekends out of six.

Shift times are as follows; 6.00am -11.00am / 09.30am - 2.30pm / 1.30pm - 6.30pm - please note we are unable to offer set shift times.
