Working with hiring managers who really value your expertise, you will provide best practice advice on completing an effective recruitment process, to ensure we hire the right candidate the first time around whilst advocating a direct hiring approach. You will be ahead of the game on market intelligence for our roles, proactively tracking market trends, salary benchmarking and recruitment platform offerings.
How will I do this?...
- Guide recruitment briefings with hiring managers to establish the skills set required for the role.
- Design a tailored advertising campaign for each vacancy, creating engaging adverts to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Place adverts on the right recruitment platforms to ensure we attract the best candidates for roles, continuously reviewing the performance of each advert to ensure vacancy optimisation.
- Actively resource candidates for key roles utilising a variety of platforms such as our candidate database, social media, LinkedIn candidate search and job boards.
- Ensure all candidates receive an excellent experience throughout their recruitment journey.
- Screen CVs and provide a recommended shortlist for hiring managers.
- Play an active role in interviews whilst providing constructive guidance to hiring managers.
- Lead on attendance at careers fairs to actively promote our brand and local employment opportunities, building talent pipelines for the future.
- Manage our recruitment schedule and ATS system, completing regular system maintenance and reporting.
- Facilitate recruitment training for hiring managers across the business.
What will you need to succeed?
- Proven 360 inhouse recruitment experience, managing campaigns for a range of different disciplines in a commercial organisation.
- Experience of participating in interviews.
- Excellent understanding of employment law and its impact in recruitment.
- Excellent organisation skills – able to manage a variety of campaigns whilst ensuring all stakeholders are fully engaged within the process.
- Excellent communication and creativity skills – can create engaging adverts that interest candidates.
- Solid understanding of diversity and inclusion principles in recruitment.
- Be an expert in LinkedIn headhunting, social media recruitment and using application tracking systems.
- Self motivated and focused – continuously strives to achieve sourcing the best candidate for the role through a direct sourcing method.
- Ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels.
