This is a full-time position(37 hours)

£9.50-£11.47 per hour.

Key responsibilities:

  • To be a member of a team, the duties of which will involve the collection of waste and/or recycling from household, industrial or commercial properties from a variety of locations and load onto refuse/recycling freighter.
  • To carry out manual handling tasks.
"Role Requirements" - to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

  • Knowledge of and adherence to correct manual handling techniques and thereby able to identify and undertake the most appropriate lifting and handling techniques for any task
  • Previous Refuse/Recycling collection experience
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg in weight and to undertake the continual, lifting, pulling and pushing of wheeled bins and recycling boxes in all weather conditions.
