We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our well established Payroll team in our Rugby head office.


You will deliver and develop in your role as a payroll administrator, ensuring the smooth operation and effective running of the payroll function to the business while challenging thinking and embracing change.


General Description:


The Payroll Administrator is a support role responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager & Supervisor in co-ordinating the monthly and weekly payrolls across the Morgan Sindall Group.


This involves collating and processing data changes received from HR, sites & third parties and assisting in the checking, reconciling and finalisation of the payrolls and collation of approval documentation for sign off.

Post payroll activities include reporting and payments to third parties.

All activities must be performed as per internal and external deadlines.

An excellent attention to detail, with a good knowledge of payroll legislation is required, in addition to being able to communicate effectively at all levels, and work under pressure at times

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the day to day activities of the payrolls ensuring deadlines are adhered to
  • Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure all payroll activities are performed as per company policies and procedures and in line with current legislation.
  • Primary point of contact for employees pay queries
  • A thorough knowledge of SMP, SAP, ShPP, SSP and SPP legislation is required
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a busy environment
