The Marketing & Communications Executive will have a pivotal role in executing and assessing marketing strategies and campaigns.

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Executive; Location: Surrey; Salary: £29,500/annum; Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time office-based (with some flexible working options).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Crafting engaging content for social media, blogs, press releases, campaign copy, e-newsletters, website pages, and more.
  • Social Media Management: Developing, scheduling, and tracking organic social media posts, keeping up with trends, and analyzing performance.
  • Campaign Coordination: Overseeing cross-channel content calendars to ensure cohesive and compelling messaging across all platforms.
  • Media Relations: Identifying and shaping compelling stories to pitch to media outlets, enhancing the charity's visibility.
  • Digital and Print Assets: Collaborating with teams to produce impactful digital and printed materials for campaigns and publications.
  • Influencer Engagement: Assisting in engaging new influencers, media contacts, and suppliers to amplify the charity's message.
  • Support for Families: Creating content that highlights family stories in communications, ensuring their voices are represented.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in executing comprehensive marketing campaigns and managing social media platforms.
  • Background in the charitable sector.
  • Previous dealings with marketing agencies and freelance professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, CSM, social media scheduling tools, Canva, and Adobe Suite.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational abilities and adept at managing multiple priorities.

Special Conditions:

  • Occasional need to work evenings and/or weekends.
  • Some domestic travel may be necessary.
  • Having a valid driving license is preferred.
