Cyberhawk are looking for an early career UX/UI designer with some commercial experience to join our rapidly SAAS product team.

We use drones and software to keep people out of danger and reduce the carbon footprint of our energy and large capital project clients.

About our User Experience / User Interface Designer role**:

The day-to-day:

  • You will be providing support to the UX/UI designer and collaborating with product owners, front end software engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to refine the user experience.
  • You will be participating in research to learn more about our external and internal users.
  • You will work on user flows and user story mapping, creating low fidelity wire frames and refining wires into high fidelity prototypes and interactions.
  • You will help us to continue embedding common UX practice into the team and support in adapting UX processes and contributing to and maintaining our design system.
  • You will assist in the QA of products.

Who would be a good fit for our role?:

We are looking for someone at the early career stage with a growth mindset and intellectual curiosity who is always seeking to learn more and further their knowledge and UX/UI skills.

We are looking for someone with a portfolio that demonstrates:

  • strong UI skills
- an understanding of UX decision making
- an understanding of the UX/UI process from requirements through to hand off

Skills:

  • You should have experience and knowledge of heuristics
  • Experience of Agile Methodology and Scrum
  • Experience working with front end developers will be needed.
  • Desire to participate in research activities to learn more about our customer
  • An ambitious, team player who wants to help build impactful products to help shape an industry
  • Excellent communication skills and good at accepting and understanding feedback and constructive criticism
  • Ideally you would also be proficient with Figma and Zeplin but we can help you learn this.
