Methods Analytics (MA) is looking for a Junior Data & AI Consultant to join their team within the Public Sector Business unit on a permanent basis.

This role will be mainly remote but require flexibility to travel to client sites, and their offices based in London, Sheffield, and Bristol.

Job Description

Junior Data & AI Consultant

As a Junior Data & AI Consultant, you will work within the skilled Data & AI Consulting Practice at Methods Analytics. The team serves as strategic advisors, supporting clients in deriving business value from Data & AI. You must be innovative, outcome-driven, and enthusiastic about enabling enterprise-wide improvement in the use of Data & AI. Bringing experience and interest in identifying, developing, and deploying AI solutions for business challenges.

You will be:

  • Responsible primarily for client delivery while contributing to business development and collaboration within the Data & AI Practice and Public Sector Business Unit.
  • Self-driven to deliver on data & AI literacy and strategy workstreams with guidance and support from senior team members.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business processes and objectives, identifying high-value Data & AI use cases, offering guidance and recommendations on solutions, and advising stakeholders on data governance and responsible AI.
  • Actively exploring trends in data, analytics, ML, and AI to deliver strategic advice to clients, staying updated on emerging opportunities and competitor moves.
  • Supporting the education of executives on data & AI technologies, techniques, and market offerings.
  • Contributing to creating reports and presentations for advising C-suite teams on comprehensive enterprise data strategies.
  • Supporting the delivery of data-driven initiatives and contributing to building tailored Data & AI strategies.
  • Supporting clients in establishing lasting data & AI capabilities through data literacy and mentoring.
  • Articulating and quantifying the value of the consultancy's data and AI capabilities to prospects in public and private sectors.

Requirements

  • Confidence in conveying complex technical concepts of AI and ML to various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Continuous learning and improvement in the field of Data & AI.
  • Foundational knowledge of Data & AI with hands-on experience in data and AI, applying analytical and statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of recent innovations and relevant certifications with leading cloud providers.

You may also have desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience in management consulting or large organizational data strategy delivery.
  • Experience in developing proposals, bids, and value propositions, engaging at an executive level.
  • Industry-standard data management qualifications and a good understanding of data governance.
  • Working knowledge of various AI technologies, ML frameworks, and data science principles.
