Due to increased business demand and expansion , there is now an exciting opportunity to join the Sales team as a Commercial Manager.

(This role is office/field based)

As our new Commercial Manager your role will include:

  • Work with MD to establish direction by developing strategies for attaining short, medium and long term goals
  • Develop and implement agreed Sales strategy that delivers growth of volume and profit
  • Develop and implement Strategic Category plans for key accounts
  • Plan and negotiate promotional plans to drive profitable incremental sales
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the Sales team and effectively manage the Sales Executives (2 direct reports)
  • Play a lead role in generating business development opportunities in new categories
Relevant experience within a similar role within an FMGC, ideally food

  • Passionate about Japanese food
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all commercial aspects of food manufacturing
  • 'Strong commercial knowledge with established relationships and experience with major retailers (Big 4 and beyond)
  • A team player with a flexible approach to work
  • Organisational and project management skills to assist with project priorities
