Our client is a leading talent specialist that partners with UKs leading precision engineering companies specialising in Aerospace, Automotive / Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Green, Environmental and FMCG industries.

This position offers the opportunityto work for a leading precision engineering business that manufactures small to large sized, complex components.

They have achieved its BSI ISO 9001:2015.

During 2015 our client moved to a larger premise to enable them to increase their machining capability.

Meaning they are now able to Turn, Mill, Grind, Stress Relieve, Shot Blasting, Gear Cutting, Balancing, NDT & Dye Penetrate, Spark Eroding and Wire Cuttingall backed up all while using the latest computer software.


Key Duties;

  • Prepare and operate CNC Machines
  • Programme offline using AlphaCam (training on CAD/CAM will be provided)
  • Set and programme using Fanuc controls
  • Interpret engineering drawings

What we are looking for;

  • 5+ years experience within a CNC Miller position previously
  • Experience using Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Use of literacy skills to complete route cards, records, etc.
  • Attention to detail
