We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Design Manager to be part of our North East team, initially focusing on a major project in the area.

Location: Morpeth, Newcastle

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

What will you be responsible for?

As a Design Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the regional design team during project tender and delivery phases. Reporting to the Head of Design, your duties will involve managing and delivering design information according to the agreed schedule, ensuring design consultants meet their obligations, and checking for compliance with standards and briefs.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Creating design programs, scopes, matrices, and schedules.
• Monitoring progress and providing reports.
• Leading meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensuring design compliance with regulations and technical standards.

What are we looking for?

This Design Manager role suits individuals with:

• Proven experience in design work for large projects.
• Background in tier 1 contracting (preferred).
• Experience with BIM level 2 projects and related data.
• Valid UK Driving License.
