EDI is launching a new project in the United Kingdom , and is looking for uk-resident professionals with a valid working visa.

EDI is looking for Concept Artist to join our creative team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Create & design conceptual artwork for current projects under directions of the supervisors and Lead
  • Develop the project's artistic vision alongside the team
  • Communicating with the team effectively to meet client expectations
  • Researching material to create realistic and convincing concepts
  • Provide creative reference and model packages
  • Preparing tests of proposed concepts to show to the VFX Supervisorand/or client to apprise them of the progress and synchronization ofmatte work.
Requisiti

Required skills:

  • Expert in Photoshop, digital painting and photo bashing
  • Knowledge of 3D packages is helpful as well such as Blender or Unreal
  • Strong knowledge of lighting, color, and composition
  • Understanding of issues of perspective and parallax as they relate to a scene
  • Familiar with 3D modeling, animation and cinematic principles
  • Strong point of view with a variety of styles both stylized and photoreal
  • Ability to craft creative solutions to situations as they occur
  • Calm maintaining skills under a lot of pressure and in case of very short time deadlines
  • Explicit passion for everything that concerns audiovisual (films, tv series, etc.).
