Handyperson - Live In

We need a flexible; hard-working person to handle a wide range of responsibilities in 3 acres of formal garden; 15 acres of ancient wood and 45 acres of farm pasture including:

• General maintenance such as lawn-mowing; hedge cutting; clearing fallen timber; hedges, fencing and troughs
• the garden well-known and open to the public during the summer.

*Building maintenance, both exterior and interior of various buildings, including a holiday-let barn.

*Collecting, chain-sawing and delivering wood for heating.

*Maintaining garden equipment such as quads; lawnmowers; chainsaws and pumps etc.

*On occasions looking after family pets - three dogs and two cats.

The position is full-time, and we provide an attractive two bedroom flat with its own private garden. Everything is included in terms of electricity/heating/water/council tax/insurance. Because of rural location car driver required. Much of the work is manual.

Option for Second person

There is the option for second person in terms of general household domestic work for around 8-12 hours a week on a self-employed basis with flexible timing.
