Role purpose


Plan, create, and deliver content that supports the SEO and wider marketing strategies across all marketing channels (approximately 90% of the role).


Develop, implement and manage the organic social media strategy across the business in order to amplify content and raise brand awareness (approximately 10% of the role).

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Work closely with the SEO Manager to agree SEO objectives
  • Identify, research and write shortform and longform SEO content for all company websites
  • Research and produce a wide range of other content including thought leadership articles for various trade press titles, blogs, information sheets, customer instructions etc.
  • Monitor content activity relating to our sectors and competitors, collating and analysing information to inform the ongoing SEO content strategy
  • Create and manage a range of B2B and B2C organic social media campaigns, across various platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Marketing team, especially the SEO, Website and PR & Content Managers to ensure a joinedup approach
  • Collaborate closely with key personnel across the business to write highlyinformed, accurate and credible copy
  • Keep abreast of SEO content and social media products and trends

Key Requirements

  • Significant inhouse or agency copywriting experience and expertise researching, writing and publishing both targeted shortform and longform content
  • Ability to assimilate new information very quickly and to understand complex issues and multiple stakeholder needs
  • Able to produce engaging, accurate content for diverse audiences
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proactive selfstarter with excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong relationshipbuilder with good networking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to multiple deadlines and prioritise demands
  • Embraces a continuous learning / continuous improvement approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
