What you will be doing as our Senior Insights Manager?

  • Generate insight on a regular basis to feed back to the Customer teams and Category teams using, but not limited to, the following tools: Viva, Field Feedback, Performance results, Return on Investment Analysis.
  • If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.
  • Analyse promotional activity for each promotional period, identifying trends year on year via Self-Serve tools for each of your retail account

  • Analyse return on investment key drivers, identifying trends across key categories and activities within each of your retail accounts
  • Use the above analyses to make recommendations to all stakeholders (FSS CBD, FSS Field Management, P&G Customer Teams, P&G RetailX team) on where and how to invest field resource
  • Produce appropriate briefing documents and material for the field team to give clear direction on priorities and activities, based on driving maximum return on investment

  • Produce and issue a weekly report per retail account highlighting key weekly performance info and Insight into Action opportunities

  • Produce and issue regular reports (retailer promotional cycle) report identifying results, opportunities and learnings for each retail account

  • Carry out deep dive review sessions (half yearly and yearly) to look at current ways of working and to recommend improvements that will deliver either greater efficiency or greater return in terms of field coverage

  • Work closely with the other business departments for the delivery of POS, clear sales briefs and weekly updates to the Field Sales team to ensure they deliver the best ROI back to the business
  • Support the building of standardised Selling Stories and blitz templates for key drive activities
  • Monthly Field Accompany visits to ensure consistency in ways of working between Field Execs and Field Operations
  • Lead by example when working within a wider group to demonstrate appropriate behaviors that will deliver a positive outcome for the Field Sales team

What are we looking for in our Deputy Operations Manager?

  • Has field experience at Field Management level.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office required, especially Excel

  • Be comfortable working with and understanding data to translate into insight

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Have good negotiation and presentations skills across all media

  • Strong capability to write, create and present briefing content in various formats – Powerpoint, word, excel

  • Strong written and verbal communicator.

  • Strong attention to detail, but also creative at the same time
  • Comfortable proactively building internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Comfortable working to short deadlines in a fast paced, agency environment. Experience of managing multiple tasks and projects requiring strategic foresight

  • Able to express ideas and views persuasively, clearly and concisely.

  • Be well organized and able to plan ahead effectively.

  • Adaptable to the needs and requirements of the business and its clients

  • Willing and able to commute to Harrogate or Weybridge P&G Office(s) on a regular basis (minimum fortnightly)
