Duties and responsibilities

Assist with the transfer of patients from one type of equipment to another

  • Assist with the patient's comfort level by adjusting temperature, humidity, and air flow on patients' beds
  • Assist with the physical examination by performing basic medical procedures
  • Perform routine cleaning duties such as mopping floors, dusting furniture, etc.
  • Assist with preparing meals when necessary using kitchen equipment (e.g. blanching vegetables, cutting fruit, etc.)
  • Check on patients' health throughout the day to ensure they are comfortable and alert
  • Check on patients' vital signs and respond appropriately to any changes in their physical condition
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and documented before the end of the day
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications and skills

Must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times while working with sensitive patient information
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy in completing paperwork and tasks assigned

Job Types:

£10.42-£11.00 per hour
