Connex Education is searching for enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to support in primary school around the Hartlepool area for roles commencing in September 2024.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working throughout the school, ideally with experience supporting pupils with SEND.

While supporting children with their learning, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant who can provide a nurture-based approach to school life.

This role will commence from September.

Person Specification

Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
Have behaviour management skills
Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
Be organised and reliable
Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one
Willing to go the extra mile
