Canine Carer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for our beloved pack of dogs, to include enrichment activities, grooming, behaviour monitoring, training And more
  • Assist with general running of the canine facility
  • Shared responsibility of driving our 'School Bus' to collect dogs from their homes and taking them home in the afternoons
- some light admin duties
- take part in Dog Show performances and trade shows
- assisting with health checks and lunchtime duties

  • Provide support to clientele
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pack

Experience:

  • Previous experience in canine care preferred
  • Full & clean drivers licence a must
  • Animal care qualifications preferred
- minimum level 2

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confident around dogs is essential to the role
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work alongside other staff members
  • Ability to complete home based CPD training as required by licensing requirements

Salary:
From £10.42 per hour
