Electrical and Gas Engineers
At Island Catering Equipment, (ICEC), not only do we buy/sell Commercial Catering Equipment we also offer a very competitive repair/breakdown service to the commercial catering World. We offer site surveys to assist in the smooth running of any project and take pride in our quality installation and maintenance services. Due to expansion of our business, we are now seeking more experienced Electrician/Gas Engineers to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities : As an Electrical/Gas Engineer at ICEC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Gas/Electrical tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Conducting a range of electrical/gas tasks including Reports, installation work, fault finding, and certification of completed works. (Gas Certification). Work is carried out to the highest standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• The Gas Engineer must be fully certified to carry out Maintenance, Repairs and Servicing including undertaking Gas tightness testing.
Qualifications and Skills: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (preferred), 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing, ACS Commercial Gas Ticket, COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety, Knowledge of materials and methods used in the electrical/gas industry, Full, valid driving license.
What We Offer: Competitive salary starting at £29,000 according to experience and qualifications, 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 28 days holiday inc. Bank Holidays, Pension scheme, Company Van & Fuel Card, Company Tablet, Training Schemes, PPE Clothing & Tools, Great team of work colleagues.
