Our client, a leading manufacturing facility based in Wrexham, is currently looking for a HSE Specialist/Training Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.


Duties to include:

  • Supporting the SHEQ Manager and ensuring that the business adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations
  • Establish, maintain and review training needs and structure as well as organising any onsite training that may be required
  • Coordinate and drive training to ensure manufacturing competencies are maintained and recorded
  • Conduct new risk assessments for processes and review and update existing ones
  • Assist teams in developing safe systems of work for new/existing processes to ensure the safe operation of equipment
  • Assist in accident investigation processes as needed
  • Complete workplace audits and implement corrective actions
  • Compile reports for the management team if required
  • Produce and deliver presentations covering various HSE issues
  • Deliver workplace inductions for visitors, contractors, and new starters
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Previous experience conducting risk assessments within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous audit experience is advantageous
  • Computer literacy is essential, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office,
