Our client, a leading manufacturing facility based in Wrexham, is currently looking for a HSE Specialist/Training Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties to include:
- Supporting the SHEQ Manager and ensuring that the business adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations
- Establish, maintain and review training needs and structure as well as organising any onsite training that may be required
- Coordinate and drive training to ensure manufacturing competencies are maintained and recorded
- Conduct new risk assessments for processes and review and update existing ones
- Assist teams in developing safe systems of work for new/existing processes to ensure the safe operation of equipment
- Assist in accident investigation processes as needed
- Complete workplace audits and implement corrective actions
- Compile reports for the management team if required
- Produce and deliver presentations covering various HSE issues
- Deliver workplace inductions for visitors, contractors, and new starters
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Previous experience conducting risk assessments within a manufacturing environment
- Previous audit experience is advantageous
- Computer literacy is essential, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office,
