As a Sous Chef, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Effective communication with the entire team and fostering strong working relationships with all team members.
  • Ensuring adherence to cleanliness and hygiene standards, implementing food safety protocols, and upholding health and safety measures.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, striving to deliver top-notch food and service standards through your team for the ultimate satisfaction of our guests.

What you'll contribute to the kitchen:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of operating a sizeable, fresh food-oriented pub or restaurant, backed by prior experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in managing GPs and stock levels.
  • Capability to motivate, inspire, and nurture the development of the broader kitchen team.
  • Sound understanding of all regulations, food hygiene practices, and company standards.
