The Role


We have an amazing opportunity for a Head of Account Management to join the group and own revenue opportunities with our existing customer base.

The Head of Account Management role is focused on existing clients, ensuring their team is renewing all contracts and converting projects into long-term hosting deals across the board.

Over time, the job may include a broader remit to upselling and cross-selling. The role also includes responsibility for our customer success engagements which includes business reviews and won/loss analysis.

In this role you will:

  • Coach, develop, mentor, and lead the Account Management team
  • Leading the Account Management team (currently 3 in the group). Closing hosting deals yourself and coaching the team in opportunity spotting at accounts. To nurture and close of Zutec's cloudbased software and associated services to the Construction sector with a primary focus on Contractors, Developers, Asset Owners, and Housebuilders
  • As a player/coach, you will be responsible for hitting the team target and incentivised to close your deals too
  • You will enjoy working towards targets and managing the team according to agreed KPIs
  • To ensure activity is always correctly directed with a daily or several times a week meeting of your team
  • To be in charge of all aspects of Account Management for the global team, including prospecting, deal nurture and close for Existing Business Upsells, Renewals and Conversions
  • You will need to be able to manage a large pipeline of opportunities across the team while making sure we also have large Enterprise accounts for future deals
  • Hire, train and develop team members


Our Sales team lives to lead a culture of winning by understanding the market's needs, leveraging our decades of experience to provide best practice that matches our prospect's pain points, and selling the unique advantages of our comprehensive and configurable platform.

The sales team is split into new business and account management. The Head of Account Management's role is to act as a player/manager for the account management team.

About You


We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a proven track record of selling solution-based software, experience of working for a rapidly growing software business and knowledge of HubSpot.

You will be highly numerically literate; used to working with data-based decision making processes and management, and have the ability to add process and structure to the Account Management team where needed, to reduce deal cycle time and deal push rate.


Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification and substantial experience, you will have excellent communication and leadership skills, coupled with experience of working in a business that is continually evolving and changing.
