Head of Restaurants

We are now looking for a Head of Restaurant Operations to join our Food & Hospitality leadership team here at Harrods.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

About the Role

The Head of Restaurant Operations will oversee the running of the Knightsbridge restaurants for both our Own Bought and Concession business models.

They will ensure we operate our restaurants to a world class standard by constantly evaluating the way we serve our customers and deal with the peak and non-peak periods.

Customer feedback will be at the heart of their decision making to drive these improvements.

The role will have direct reports of the Senior Operations Managers, Beverage Manager and Executive Chef - Restaurants to bring these into one fluid and high performing team.

Commercial outputs of our existing business will be a key driver of success where we set long term goals of developing revenues and finding opportunities to do so, they will constantly evaluate the numbers and find ways to develop trade in low performing spaces.

The role will work closely with the Director of Restaurants and Kitchens on development plans to enable these commercial improvements.

They will set the tone on pre-openings and ensure they the outlets excel from the beginning.

About You

As a hands on, present and purposeful leader in our operations setting the bench mark and pushing us forward, you will ensure the effective running of the restaurant operations and kitchens in line with business trends and volumes.

In addition you will lead with a presence across our restaurants to demonstrate a hands on leadership.

You will possess strong customer service focus, excellent interpersonal and communication and time-management skills. With good attention to detail which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. A strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to Harrods values.
