Global Training Manager – Engineering
Barrington James are partnered with a global, leading medical device and solutions company based in the heart of Crawley West Sussex. We support them in the search of a Technical Trainer, with a passion for engineering and a deep understanding of learning and development/training techniques.
The position is working within a small but dynamic international team, out of a brand new hub which will be the home of training globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on technical training, often down to component level, on a range of medical equipment to our global engineering team. Develop, create and deliver new and existing training, including digital E-learning materials, hand-outs, tests and testing methodology, training videos, and live trainer-led webinars Manage individual learner training and skills development, to maximise their full potential Provide product feedback into design, and product management regarding any relevant information discovered during training. Failures, improvements, and anything else that may be useful for product improvement Physically maintain training equipment (repair and refresh) and space to ensure all is suitable to deliver training when required Function as a face of the company to the customers, distributors and engineers, maintaining an impeccably high standard of professional conduct at all times
Essential Criteria:
Master's degree, bachelor's degree, preferably trained as an Engineer Experience working in a learning environment – delivering training Strong communication and presentations skills Empathy and patience Be a good team player who is energetic, creative, resourceful, and responsible
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory Worked in smaller teams, able to work in a dynamic environment Based locally or willing to relocate to Crawley/surrounding areas
