Responsibilities:

Coordinating the daytoday activities of the rail team, including assigning tasks and setting priorities
Ensuring that all work is completed safely and in compliance with industry regulations and standards
Providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members to help them achieve their full potential
Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of work progress, materials, and equipment
Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that may arise during projects
Communicating regularly with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
Managing and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials to ensure they are in good working order

Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Foreman or similar leadership role in the rail industry
Strong knowledge of rail construction and maintenance processes and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Valid industryspecific certifications and qualifications, such as a PTS track safety card
SMSTS or SSSTS
