Your opportunity:

What we are looking for:

  • Support staff in understanding the learning needs of children with SEN and the importance of raising their achievement
  • Ensure that the objectives of the SEN policy are reflected in the school development plan
  • Monitor the progress made in setting objectives and targets for children with SEN
  • Liaise with and coordinate the contribution of external agencies
  • Support the identification of, and disseminate the most effective teaching approaches for children with SEN
  • Observe children with SEN within class and use observations to assess and identify the most effective teaching approaches for those children with SEN
  • Identify and develop study skills to support children in their ability to work independently and learn more effectively
