Description:

We are working with a long running family business, located near Saltburn who are looking to appoint a finance assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger processing and matching orders
  • AP and AR experience (from input to reconciliations)
  • Producing Trade Debtors, and monthly credit control activities.
  • Sales invoicing, and agent commissions.
  • Cash book reconciliations
  • Supporting month end accounts prep and reporting tasks
  • Obtaining Management Info for regular KPI analysis
  • Accruals / Prepayments / GRNI
  • Petty cash
  • Payroll knowledge
  • Holiday cover for payroll and stock / purchase clerks where required
  • Strong excel skills ( pivot tables)
  • Experience using Opera 3 (advantageous)
  • Analytical and a real problem solver
  • Forward thinking who can share ideas to develop the role
  • Proactive
