About This Opportunity
The Risk & Finance Lab are a group of Product Owners, Integrators, Customer Journey Managers, Business Agility Leads and Engineers supporting the Markets business. This role is responsible for overseeing the release of incremental value within the Internal Financial & Risk Reporting product which contains two feature teams. The primary aim of this role is to deliver value to customers and stakeholders by ensuring the team focuses on the right priorities.
Define the team's objectives & key results, working with stakeholders to align to our strategic priorities for the product.
Realise product vision by leading teams to deliver product feature releases working closely with engineering, ensuring that we deliver a great service to clients.
Shape the product roadmap. Prioritise, refine and manage the backlog, making data led decisions to prioritise across different business objectives. Promotes agile methodology within the team and works with a test and learn approach.
Responsible for ensuring all decisions are made within a sound risk framework and within Group standards and appetite.
Support partners with both technical and non-technical backgrounds, articulating business requirements and changes.
What You'll Need
A solid knowledge of financial markets products (Rates, FX, Credit and Money Markets) and services with a detailed knowledge of the trade lifecycle and risk management requirements is a must.
Knowledge of the front to back-office control environment .
Prior experience working within an Agile environment , experience working with software engineering teams and strong stakeholder management skills.
Prior experience of managing complex delivery and championing the voice of the customer when defining priorities .
Have strong interpersonal skills, be comfortable working with and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Technical knowledge, a good understanding of the principles of system design and high-level architecture. Detailed knowledge of risk management and reporting systems.
Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and JIRA.
An accountancy qualification is an advantage.
