Pastoral Support Manager

Location:

West Midlands, West Midlands, Solihull

Salary:

£120 - £150 Per day

Job Duties:
  • Lead and manage the pastoral system within the school
  • Develop strong working relationships with staff and students
  • Provide regular feedback to headteacher and senior staff
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment, de-escalating issues efficiently
  • Handle complex pastoral issues and collaborate with external agencies
Required Qualifications:

Hold a QTS or relevant teaching qualification

Experience:

Experience within a similar pastoral role (ESSENTIAL)

Previous experience dealing with complex pastoral issues

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare
  • Competent organisational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently
  • Ability to de-escalate issues efficiently and appropriately
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in safeguarding and student welfare

Working Conditions:

Contract role with Full-Time hours

Expected to work within the school environment

Collaborate with headteacher and senior staff regularly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
