YOUR ROLE
We are now looking for a
Lead Operative to set the standards for production and operational activities.

As Lead Operative, you will lead and develop your team, remodel production activities towards world-class performance and make continuous improvement standard practice.

You will inspire team members towards hitting their targets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and manage PSQDCI Board daily
  • Communicate with your team the daily results
  • Encourage good practice amongst your team
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining quality checks
  • Work within the specified budgets covering headcount, overtime, absence and holidays
  • Cover the role of VSL in their absence
  • Ensure delivery targets are met and maintained OTIF
  • Work closely with VSL and VSM to control costs
  • Be available for stock taking and ensure correct recording of stock levels are carried out daily

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • We are looking for someone who understands a 'SAFETY FIRST' culture and is able to achieve safety and quality standards
  • Previous experience of organising, leading and training others
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable however not essential
