Job Summary:
- We have an exciting opportunity for a Wound Care Clinical Nurse Specialist within older people services.
- Looking for a committed individual to deliver high-quality care to individuals on inpatient wards.
Main Duties of the Job:
- Experienced nurse with a professional qualification (Registered Nurse) and excellent wound care management skills.
- Skilled communicator with leadership experience.
- Provide supervision and work with the team for the best outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Seeking an experienced nurse with knowledge and skills in wound care.
- Looking for a confident, motivated, and supportive leader who enjoys working in a busy environment.
Person Specification:
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- RGN
- Degree with experience in postgraduate study or equivalent
- ENB 998/Mentorship
- Wound management or leadership development experience
- NMC registration
- Teaching/training experience
Desirable
- Willingness to undertake advanced wound care and tissue viability training
- Willingness to undertake NMP (Non-Medical Prescribing)
