Bateman Skips, a successful waste management and recycling company, and part of The RSK Group, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Weighbridge Operative to oversee their expanding team in Keynsham, Bristol, UK.

Responsibilities of the Weighbridge Operative:

  • To accurately record and track all movements at the weighbridge.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment and promoting safe practices among employees.
  • Adhering to Bateman Skips' codes of conduct, regulations, and policies.
  • Logging all vehicles passing through the weighbridge and verifying paperwork.
  • Guiding vehicles to appropriate dumping locations.
  • Issuing weighbridge tickets both manually and through the system.
  • Handling phone calls and organizing receipts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Requirements/Experience of the Weighbridge Operative:

  • Prior waste industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Weighbridge background advantageous but not required.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills.
